Metal sandblasting – Metalworking
Derusting, paint stripping, descaling:
Metals are freed pore-deep e.g. from rust, oxidation, paint or scale. Corners, slots, grooves and recesses that are impossible to reach with a brush or even an angle grinder are thoroughly cleaned by metal sandblasting. As a result, the resulting finely roughened surface provides optimum adhesion for e.g. paints as well as varnishes.
Suitable:
Iron, steel, cast, light and precious metals
Fields of application:
Car and motorcycle parts (classic cars), bicycle frames, rims, gratings, antiques, as well as small parts can be drum-blasted.
Deburring:
The production-related burr on metallic materials is removed gently from the surface by a special plastic granulate.
Suitable:
Brass, copper, aluminum or other soft metals
Fields of application:
Stamped and turned parts, sleeves or bushings, etc…
Surface finish:
Glass bead blasting is used to ink light traces from drilling, milling or bending, and to remove scale and discoloration from welding. This also produces a silk-matt homogeneous surface. This also does not need to be refinished for precious metals.
Suitable:
Aluminum, brass, copper or stainless steel
Areas of application:
Machine frames, containers, housings, front parts, covers, facades, railings as well as balustrades.
